A digital transformation was necessary in order to shift perceptions and build deeper trust with patients and providers.

Atlantic Health needed a digital experience that wasn’t just functional, but compassionate. One that connected emotionally with patients, guided them through their most vulnerable moments, and made them feel welcome every step of the way. To connect authentically with users, we set out to represent them, down to the most unique features and characteristics. We partnered with local artist Rose Wong to design a custom, animated illustration library that would breathe life into Atlantic’s digital communications.

The new homepage proudly showcases Atlantic’s commitment to compassionate, personalized care. The site’s new navigation is based on what matters most to patients, with insights from historical data guiding these decisions. By focusing on task-driven links and new content discovery, we made it easier for users to find exactly what they need. This digital transformation marked a shift to a patient-first, data-driven approach that frees up Atlantic’s resources to focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional care. In a healthcare landscape that’s constantly evolving, they’re now equipped to meet the needs of today’s digitally savvy patients—efficiently, compassionately, and effectively.
